A very nice climb through beautiful green surroundings and regular views, but not really advisable with fragile rims and thin tyres. The first part is good tarmac but then follows a long stretch of rough concrete which is sometimes quite reasonable but in some places the top layer has crumbled and you can feel that. It is sometimes hard work to ride up steps and ledges, although sometimes you can get past them on the side. Further on, it becomes a gravel road, which is actually a lot nicer to ride. At the end, there is a slightly steeper section which is also concrete, but that is manageable. At the T-junction you can turn left to descend further on the tarmac to Noorbeek, because descending via the climb has to be done very quietly (or you must have a full).
