Avoid this pass. This is a very busy weather where there is no room for cyclists. Very dangerous

Erg gevaarlijk

Horrible. We had the same depressing experience with Tyrolean cycling infrastructure as the other user, in a very stark contrast with Bavaria. At least the road is wide, and if you're lucky, you'll be descending in front of a campervan, which might just be slower than you...

I can only repeat my review of the alternative. We must not waste too many words on this thing.
This is a very busy artery and is full of traffic - buses, trucks, holidaymakers, you name it.
To be avoided like the plague, but the downside is that if you have to cross it, you really have no alternative. There is a cycle path through the forest, but that is completely unsuitable for racing bikes. Only gravel or mountain bikes are allowed.
Especially a warm call to the mayor to asphalt the cycle path or dig a tunnel for the car traffic. A disaster.
