Even in my native region I still have climbs to discover, and this was one of them until today (thanks Climbfinder :-)). An irregular climb indeed, but the gradient remains steady throughout, on a fairly narrow road that sometimes forms tight switchbacks. The fact that it's not very busy is its main advantage over the classic ascent.

The better way to cycle to the top of the Col de Clémencière! Narrow road with almost no traffic. The climb is much more uneven than the other version but that makes it just as fun.

It's my turn to refer, in 5' of cycling you are above Grenoble, in not so easy hairpins, escaping towards the Chartreuse... I never tire of this magnificent access, little frequented and quite sportive. Very efficient.
