Beautiful climb in the beautiful landscape of the Drôme. (although the other side of this climb is just a bit nicer with a slightly more spectacular view). Little to no shade. Sainte Jalle is one of the most adorable villages of France. Provence at its best. Back to the climb: it's even and not too steep, an average wide road in good condition with not too much traffic.
Nice climb in the Drome.
The road is in excellent condition and hardly any traffic. This climb is very even. At the bottom there is a sign saying max 13% but I didn't see that, not even 10%. No shade anywhere. Many gentle curves and nowhere steel and always between 4 and 7%percentages. What is nice is that a few hours after the Olympic road race, I met the family of Jacob Fulsang and had a nice chat.
Another nice climb in the Baronnies. You cycle between lavender fields and forested hills. The D108 is a small road where the traffic drives slowly, but it is not deserted. And if there is a huge camper or tractor going up, you have to go on the side of the road.
