Nice climb through the forest. In terms of percentage, it's not much, but I mistake the length every time. This slope is just a bit too long to bang on.
Leuke klim door het bos. Qua percentage stelt het niet veel voor, maar ik vergis me iedere keer weer in de lengte. Deze helling is net wat te lang om op te knallen.
What you see is what you get, perpendicular road through the forest. A nice wide cycle path, where you can cycle up at a punishing pace. Percentages are just ff too much to really bang on.
Wat je ziet is wat je krijgt, loodrechte weg door het bos. Een mooi breed fietspad, waar je in een straf tempo omhoog kan fietsen. Percentages zijn net ff te om er echt op te knallen.
In terms of climbing a lot nicer than the much driven climb towards Austerlitz. It runs longer than you initially expect. So plan well when you sprint up with your mates!
Qua klim een stuk mooier dan de veel gereden klim richting Austerlitz. Hij loopt langer door dan je in eerste instantie verwacht. Goed indelen dus als je met je maten naar boven sprint!

The road goes on for quite a while to a military practice area, but you can turn left earlier on a bicycle path.

De weg loopt nog een heel eind door tot een militair oefenterrein , maar je kunt al eerder linksaf over een fietspad.
This is one of the nicer climbs in the area. A car-free road through the forest, which on fine days can be quite busy with cyclists and hikers. As a descent so please pay attention!
If you go up, you can test yourself here briefly. For cyclists of any level, this is a fine climb to ride hard up.
In de omgeving is dit toch wel een van de mooiere beklimmingen. Een autoluwe weg door het bos die echter op mooie dagen vrij druk kan zijn met fietsers en wandelaars. Als afdaling dus even goed opletten!
Ga je hier omhoog, dan kan je jezelf hier even kort testen. Voor wielrenners van ieder niveau is dit een fijne klim om hard omhoog te rijden.
Beautiful climb, very well suited to go full speed ahead. This climb is heavy enough to drive your heart rate up to 200+. Combination percentage + length hurts. At the top you are above the real rise, but it goes a bit false flat and then up and down before you can really give your legs a rest.
Prachtige klim, heel goed geschikt om volle bak op te knallen. Dan is deze klim trouwens wel zwaar genoeg om je hartslag de 200+ in te jagen. Combinatie percentage+lengte doet toch pijn. Bovenaan ben je wel boven de echte stijging uit, maar gaat het nog wat vals plat door en daarna op en af voordat je echt de benen rust kunt geven.
Just past the barrier and then up the straight road. Lovely to go from Amersfoort to Zeist. Beautiful beech forest in the first part.
Even langs de slagboom en dan de kaarsrechte weg omhoog fietsen. Heerlijk om vanuit Amersfoort richting Zeist te gaan. Mooi beukenbos in het eerste gedeelte.
Nice running climb, with a little extra at the end. Not steep or very long, but full speed up. Prohibited for cars's!
Mooie lopende klim, met nog een klein extraatje op het einde. Niet steil of erg lang, maar volle bak omhoog. Verboden voor auto's!
