From the pretty village of Soiron, it goes uphill at first in a relaxed but scenic hairpin curve. Further on you turn left and after a bend you see a straight road stretching steeply ahead (and after a slight bend it continues for a while). Unfortunately, this one was under maintenance so difficult to judge in terms of road surface. Further on, you rejoin the main road and then it flattens out considerably. The last part is out cycling with the summit being at a bus shelter.
