Fella at the bike rental told me not to go up this way... and if you wanted a nice ride he would of been right! Getting out of town was quite busy then Km 5 - 7 ish as your leaving town is pushing the bike territory.... if you mkae it that far, youre over the worst of it. The road is lovely (and bassicaly car free) even if littered with debris up through the forest. stiil brutal still needed to push bits but more possible! then once you reach the cross roads its smooth sailing to the top! a well... read more

Fella at the bike rental told me not to go up this way... and if you wanted a nice ride he would of been right! Getting out of town was quite busy then Km 5 - 7 ish as your leaving town is pushing the bike territory.... if you mkae it that far, youre over the worst of it. The road is lovely (and bassicaly car free) even if littered with debris up through the forest. stiil brutal still needed to push bits but more possible! then once you reach the cross roads its smooth sailing to the top! a well needed bit of rest on the decent then last 3 ish k climb up the cafe will feel easy! Probably plan to get down a diffrent route tho... would be sketch to go down that side!
