The difficulty score on this one should be taken with a spoon full of salt, the climb is an unpleasant long grind up with gradient slowly increasing, the road surface is very rough (I had 25 clinchers) to which you have to add typically headwinds in this direction and dense road traffic including many trucks as well as motor bikes taking chances in overtaking manoeuvres; but other way up is even worse as numerous trucks tend to get "stuck" in the steep bits and will engage in long and unpleasant overtaking manoeuvres with cyclists; too be avoided.
