Austria has many valleys and also many mountains, I think 45% of the country is mountains so you have to climb regularly to get somewhere. Don't forget that cutting corners in the mountains means that it can get steep along the way. From the town you can cycle through the houses on a narrow street, the climb is a little longer but you must first get to Kranzlhofen. It remains steep and if you Unterwurzen by it goes downhill for a while, turn along the river and up again. The view is magnificent and you cycle in an open area. In the summer it is very hot here in the afternoon so leave on time.
Above a great view and the descent has two gravel strips as a surprise....
