Excellent tarmac, a few curves, green surroundings and a reasonable - quite tough - runner. Little to criticise actually but still this one doesn't really stand out. Of course, traffic may also play a role although it wasn't too bad when I was there.... read more

Busy road, but excellent tarmac. The kind of climb you do to reach another really beautiful climb or descent.

Quite busy road. Is especially known in the opposite direction as a descent after the Maquisard in Liège-Bastogne-Liège.
You could make the climb much longer if you start from the main road between Spa and Theux through the village of Hestroumont.
Down that road, there is a sign "Maquisard Inconnu"

Vrij drukke weg.
