Excellent tarmac, a few curves, green surroundings and a reasonable - quite tough - runner. Little to criticise actually but still this one doesn't really stand out. Of course, traffic may also play a role although it wasn't too bad when I was there.
Uitstekend asfalt, paar bochten, groene omgeving en een redelijk - best pittige - loper. Eigenlijk weinig op aan te merken maar toch springt deze er niet echt uit. Het verkeer kan natuurlijk ook een rol spelen al viel het mee toen ik er was.
Busy road, but excellent tarmac. The kind of climb you do to reach another really beautiful climb or descent.
Drukke weg, wel uitstekend asfalt. Zo'n klim die je doet om een andere echt mooie klim of afdaling te bereiken.
Quite busy road. Is especially known in the opposite direction as a descent after the Maquisard in Liège-Bastogne-Liège.
You could make the climb much longer if you start from the main road between Spa and Theux through the village of Hestroumont.
Down that road, there is a sign "Maquisard Inconnu"
Vrij drukke weg. Is vooral bekend in de omgekeerde richting als afdaling na de Maquisard in Luik-Bastenaken-Luik.
Je zou de klim veel langer kunnen maken als je start vanop de grote weg tussen Spa en Theux door het dorpje Hestroumont.
