A typical 'hollow road' in The Hageland. Not a super special or difficult climb but it is pretty. Definitely worth including in your route. After the climb you can also dive down straight away to the next climb called 'Hellegat'. You can use this opportunity to attack your friends ;)

T'is maar hoe je het bekijkt. Alleszins, aan de Donkerstraat is niks mis. Een zeer fijn klimmetje, uitgekerfd in een holle weg (dus al veel interessanter dan de Klarenbos die enkele straten verderop ligt) en stijgingspercentages die flirten met de 10％.

In my opinion one of the most beautiful climbs in and around Gelrode. This climb starts easy but always gets steeper and steeper and the last 250 meters are really tough; the narrow road between very high verges gives you the feeling of a real climb. Watch out for the cars coming down (one way) because the road is very narrow.
Volgens mij één van de mooiste beklimmingen in en rond Gelrode.
