Very fine variant of the Moedermeule. Or is the Moedermeule the variant of the Donkerstraat?
T's just how you look at it. Anyway, there is nothing wrong with the Donkerstraat. A very fine climb, carved into a hollow road (so already much more interesting than the Klarenbos which is a few streets away) and gradients that flirt with the 10％.

T'is maar hoe je het bekijkt. Alleszins, aan de Donkerstraat is niks mis. Een zeer fijn klimmetje, uitgekerfd in een holle weg (dus al veel interessanter dan de Klarenbos die enkele straten verderop ligt) en stijgingspercentages die flirten met de 10％.
The steeper version of this slope. Short and steep, as some like it. It is a one way, but with the bike you may go two ways. Watch out for the cars.
De steilere variant van deze helling. Kort en steil, zoals sommigen het graag hebben. Het is een enkelrichting, maar met de fiets mag je twee richtingen uit. Pas wel op voor de auto's.
In my opinion one of the most beautiful climbs in and around Gelrode. This climb starts easy but always gets steeper and steeper and the last 250 meters are really tough; the narrow road between very high verges gives you the feeling of a real climb. Watch out for the cars coming down (one way) because the road is very narrow.
Volgens mij één van de mooiste beklimmingen in en rond Gelrode. Deze klim begint rustig maar wordt altijd steiler en steiler en de laatste 250 meter zijn echt wel pittig; Door de smalle weg tussen zeer hoge bermen geeft het je ook het gevoel van een echte klim. Wel opletten voor de auto's die naar beneden komen ( eenrichting ) want de weg is wel heel smal.
