Heavier than meets the eye. The part from the Rillaarsebaan to the Hondsheuvel is the only one where you have some form of visual entertainment, for the rest of the climb it runs boring monotonous straight ahead. Just because of this, you have no idea of the altitude meters ahead of you.... The optical illusion of that dead straight track masks the gradients, you would never expect to encounter sections of 11 and 12％.
Alternative to the Moedermeule, but then I rate the Donkerstraat higher.

Zwaarder dan het oog doet vermoeden. Het stuk van de Rillaarsebaan tot aan de Hondsheuvel is het enige waarbij je enige vorm van visueel vermaak hebt, voor de rest van de beklimming loopt het saai eentonig rechtdoor. Net hierdoor heb je geen idee van de hoogtemeters die voor je liggen... De optische illusie van die kaarsrechte baan verhullen de stijgingspercentages, je zou nooit verwachten om stukken van 11 en 12％ tegen het lijf te lopen.
Alternatief voor de Moedermeule, maar dan schat ik de Donkerstraat hoger in.

Almost every ride I do on it with the mount.
Tamelijk zwaar stuk en eentonig rechtdoor . Eenrichting en zeer weinig verkeer.
Bijna elke rit rij ik er op met de mountenbike.
