De klim begint heel leuk (en bij het aanrijden zie je dit deel van de klim ook al deels liggen) vanuit een mooi beekdal waarbij het lekker omhoog gaat met een stevig (bord 13%) stukje er in. Als je echter op de grote baan komt volgt een lang, lang stuk met voornamelijk rechte stukken waar je maar langzaam lijkt te vorderen. Wel weinig verkeer dus dat scheelt maar het alternatief ten westen van de grote weg is een stuk aantrekkelijker.
