Do people even live there? The quietest climb I ever did. Was heading for the Aubisque without having focused on the Col du Soulor. A lovely climb with the occasional traditional village. The peace and quiet struck me right away. Only 5 cars've overtaken me. The scenery is beautiful and with many views. The summit is less spectacular. There was work going on at the Aubisque, so the passage was blocked. Inform yourself well in advance. I was in the area so I was not disappointed. Asphalt is good and the descent a delight.

Slechts 5 auto's hebben me ingehaald.

Demanding climb, for a sixty year old, especially at the 7th and 8th kms and at the 11th.
Magnificent view of the cirque du Litor.
Serves as a footpath to the Aubisque pass, which is much easier to access than via Laruns.
