Very nice environment from Vico. If you look back you see the sea and the capricious peaks on your right. The round via Porto and Piana is worthwhile. Approximately 100 km it is then. The last km of the climb is quite straight and continuously 11% steep. It is a guarantee for a high maximum speed if you descend via this side.... read more

Climb is great for good throttle. Fairly regular climb apart from a few steep sections. Tarmac is in good shape and definitely recommended to take the goat path to the real summit at the top. From there you have beautiful views!

Did this on a day when not feeling good and was hot and windy. I found it unusually tough with ‘The Wall’ coming out of Vicu particularly brutal (steeper than 9%?). The last 2 - 3 km also very tough but the run down to Cristinacce is beautiful and worth the effort. I continued to Evisa and back to Porto. Also stunning!

Nice regular climb. At the end, it gets a lot steeper. The whole climb we were chased by snake eagles and joined at the top by the occasional boar. The descent to Porto also provides fantastic pictures with incredible views. a must do if you are in the area.

Mooie regelmatige klim.

Only travelled on the section from Vico, it is a wide road that can be a little busy, but pleasant and quite hard on the final ramps.

If you have the choice, you should do the climb from Porto. It is insanely beautiful.

From Sagone you first drive on a busy boring road to Vico. From Vico on, it gets better but not many nice views. The wall and the last km's are tough.

Nice climb on good asphalt. After the roundabout there is the wall of Vico. Although the name suggests otherwise, the steepness is not so bad. I found the last few kilometers to the top with percentages continuous >10% quite exhausting.

Mooie klim over goed asfalt.

Heel mooie omgeving vanaf Vico.
