The ascent is of little interest. On the other hand, the descent to the dam is well worth the trip. The tunnel is refreshing! Thanks a lot! The road is good. The bikers seem to agree... A must if you like huge dams or if you're going to climb Mont Colombis... 3 stars for the dam.... read more

3 stars for the dam.

Bit of a stretch. Quiet though. Very gradual climb. Nowhere really steep, but always uphill. Well doable.

Beetje saai stuk. Wel rustig. Heel geleidelijke beklimming. Echt nergens steil, maar wel steeds omhoog. Goed te doen.

This not too high col is especially worthwhile for the view on the lake. The road is wide with good tarmac. On a hot summer day you notice how southern you are, by the smell of pine trees and the rustle of crickets. In the descent is a tunnel, so bring lights!
