Nice part of undulating road. Like many climbs around here: quiet, nice road surface and beautiful scenery.
Leuk onderdeel van golvende weg. Zoals veel klimmetjes in de buurt hier: rustig, mooi wegdek en mooie omgeving.
Nothing difficult about it, but it runs uphill anyway and it is not too bad scenically and there is little traffic. It gets steeper very briefly but never very badly.
Niks moeilijk aan, maar het loopt toch wel bergop en het valt landschappelijk mee en er is weinig verkeer. Het wordt heel even steiler maar nooit heel erg.

Nice scenic climb to Banholt. A reasonable runner almost from the beginning but towards the end (at the sign "built-up area") the percentage goes up a bit. Between the houses it quickly flattens out again until you reach a clear "highest point". Good tarmac and the road is not too busy. Nice view to the right and to the back.
Landschappelijk aardige klim naar Banholt. Een redelijke loper vrijwel vanaf het begin maar tegen het eind (bij het bord "bebouwde kom") gaat het percentage even omhoog. Tussen de huizen vlakt het dan snel weer al tot je een duidelijk "hoogste punt" bereikt. Goed asfalt en de weg is niet al te druk. Aardig uitzicht naar rechts en naar achteren.
With so many famous and bigger climbs in the region, you tend to overlook these smaller ones. I rode here at the end of my tour and then this is really a nasty hill where you have to downshift.
Met zoveel bekende en grotere klimmen in de regio ga je dit soort kleinere klimmen snel over het hoofd zien. Ik reed hier aan het einde van mijn rondje en dan is dit echt nog wel een vervelende heuvel waar je even terug moet schakelen.
Not an easy climb, but not one that will be on anyone's list of favourite climbs soon. But a nice warm-up for the longer climbs, like the Loorberg and Camerig for example, which are a few kilometers further on.
Geen gemakkelijke klim, maar niet eentje die snel op iemands lijstje met favoriete klimmen zal staan. Wel een mooie opwarmer voor de langere beklimmingen, zoals de Loorberg en Camerig bijvoorbeeld, die een paar kilometer verder liggen.
A real mountain street, on to the metropolis Banholt (for me as a child already a permanent residence so I know every street) and if you are not prepared for it the last 100 meters will hurt your legs a bit.

Typische Limburgse klim, kort, heftig en onverwacht.
Altijd leuk als opwarmer richting de Loorberg en slingerend door de dorpjes waan je je echt op vakantie.
