Langzaam neem de helling toe tot je in een ondiep hol weggetje het steilste stuk krijgt (al valt deze verder wel mee). Daarna wordt het iets vlakker tot de T-splitsing op het eind. Onderweg ook nog leuk uitzicht op Banholt. Prima asfalt.

Ook weer zo'n lekker onbekende klim in Zuid Limburg. Daar ik als baby al in Banholt terecht ben gekomen een bekend stukje. In een wat beter geplande toertocht door Zuid Limburg komt deze wel eens als afdaling aan de beurt, daarna kun je doorklimmen via de achterdeur naar oa de Loorberg.
De weg is goed, maar wel opletten voor trekkers die omhoog komen en nog meer als het oogstseizoen is want dan heb je wel kans op modder en klei op de weg.
Banholt ligt hoog en vanaf Margraten kom je via de Bergweg binnen en via Mheer over de Banholtergrubbe. Je kunt ook hier een paar rondjes rijden op een paar vierkante kilometer en toch goed afzien.
