Climb the road between Noorbeek and Hoogcruts. From the junction with the Kütersteenweg it is like driving up a wall. If you arrive from Noorbeek at a good speed, the steepest part is doable on power/speed. After that it flattens out very quickly.
Klim op de weg tussen Noorbeek en Hoogcruts. Vanaf de splitsing met de Kütersteenweg is het net alsof je tegen een muur oprijdt. Kom je met een flinke snelheid vanuit Noorbeek aan rijden dan is het steilste deel op de macht/snelheid te doen. Daarna vlakt het heel snel af.
A small wall that you can drive into at high speed and which is more difficult than you would expect, while you drive through a hollow road on good tarmac with little traffic. The rest of the climb is more of an undulating road
Kleine Mauer, in die man mit viel tempo reinfahren kann und die schwieriger ist, als man es erwarten würde, während man, bei wenig Verkehr, auf gutem Aspahlt durch eine Hohlstraße fährt. Der Rest des Anstiegs ist eher eine wellige Straße
A varied climb on beautiful asphalt. The beginning makes the climb, here the road briefly goes up with high percentages. After the first summit, it all becomes a bit of a babble with slight ascents and two descents in between. You have to bite through this but there are no turns so you do it.
Environment is green, but there is no view.
Een gevarieerde klim op prachtig asfalt. Het begin maakt de klim, hier gaat de weg even met flinke percentages omhoog. Na de eerste "top" wordt het allemaal wat kabbelend met lichte stijgingen en twee afdalinkjes tussendoor. Hier moet je je even doorheen bijten maar er zijn toch geen afslagen dus je doet het maar.
Omgeving is groen, maar uitzicht is er niet.
Climb is a strong word. It is an ascending part of the road, and halfway it is even downhill. Of course, the clothes creep up. Like all of Dutch Limburg.
Klim is veel gezegd. Het is een oplopend stuk weg, met halfweg zelfs een stuk bergaf. Natuurlijk kruipt het in de kleren. Zoals heel Nederlands Limburg.
Easy climb at the beginning of the CF route here. Benefit: when it's hot you have a fair amount of shelter from the trees and greenery here.
Eenvoudige klim in het begin van de CF route hier. Voordeel: als het warm is heb je hier redelijk wat beschutting door de bomen en het groen.
Apart from steep start easy climb. Good to activate the legs between the big climbs you can do in the area.
Afgezien van steil begin gemakkelijke klim. Goed om de benen even te activeren tussen de grote beklimmingen die je in de omgeving kunt doen.
