When I rode it for the first time I didn't even realize it was going uphill, but then later I saw it was getting steeper. The first kilometer is actually flat, you hardly notice that you are riding uphill, only sometimes you can have the wind in front of you which makes it a little bit harder. After 1 km you pass a row of houses and take 2 turns, and then it gets steeper. When you have passed the houses you have the real part of about 500 meters against 2 to 3 percent until a moment it becomes 5 percent. Then there is a small left turn where you can look around you for a nice view of the surroundings. It then levels off and you still have a few 100m to the top. Quiet agricultural road, sometimes you can encounter a car, but that chance is quite small. Slightly longer climb that never really gets difficult.
Toen ik hem voor het eerst opreed had ik zelf niet eens door dat het bergop ging, maar dan later zag ik wel dat het ietwat steiler werd. De eerste kilometer is eigenlijk vlak, je merkt nauwelijks op dat je bergop rijdt, alleen kan je de wind wel soms voor je hebben waardoor het toch nog iets lastiger wordt. Na 1 kilometer passeer je langs een rij huizen en neem je ook 2 bochten, en dan pas wordt het steiler. Wanneer je de huizen hebt gepasseerd heb je pas het echte gedeelte van zo'n 500 meter tegen de 2 a 3 procent tot het op een bepaald moment 5 procent wordt. Vervolgens is er nog een kleine bocht naar links waar je even rond je kan kijken voor een mooi uitzicht op de omgeving. Het vlakt dan ook af en dan moet je nog een paar 100m tot de top. Rustige landbouwweg, soms kan je wel eens een auto tegenkomen, maar die kans is redelijk klein. Iets langere klim die eigenlijk nooit echt lastig wordt.
