Very short but tough climb to go up at full speed. I always do it downhill first, then make a run of a few 100 meters and then try to climb up at full speed. Especially because the road stays above 5 percent and at a certain point it goes up to 9 percent, it's the steepest road you can find in the region of Diksmuide/Houthulst and that's what makes it so nice when you want a short but steep part. Be careful at the crossroads for possible cars but they are almost never there.
Zeer kort maar pittige beklimming voor eens op volle snelheid omhoog te knallen. Ik doe hem altijd eerst bergaf, neem daarna een aanloop van een paar 100 meter en probeer hem dan op volle snelheid omhoog te klimmen. Zeker omdat de weg boven de 5 procent blijft en hij op een bepaald moment de 9 procent tikt is hij de steilste weg wat je maar kan vinden in de regio Diksmuide/Houthulst en dat maakt hem juist zo leuk als je eens iets kort, maar steil stukje wilt. Wel oppassen aan het kruispunt voor mogelijke auto's maar die zijn er wel bijna nooit.
