I know of few cols where the road climbs so gradually. Of the 13 kilometres, all between 6.9 and 7.8 ％. There is little shade, so a filled water bottle in Guillaumes is no luxury. The ski station Valberg has many restaurants for a good snack. Nice to combine with the col de la Couillole. From the Valberg side approached really easy. But from ST Sauveur sur Tinée a real struggle.
