A fine and beautifully varied climb. The first part through the vineyards is magnificent! Then ff the tension of the legs and through a nice village. Once you leave that, the scenery turns green and you go up at a constant percentage. In terms of variety, this is the nicest climb to Trois Epis, but in terms of curves and climbing, I prefer the one from Turckheim.
You can 'm all the way through towards Collet du Linge, then you have a long climb that is nowhere really too steep.
Een fijne en mooie afwisselende beklimming. Het eerste deel door de wijnvelden is schitterend! Daarna ff de spanning van de benen en door een leuk dorpje. Als je dat uitrijdt wordt de omgeving groen en ga je met een constant percentage omhoog. Qua afwisseling is dit de leukste beklimming naar Trois Epis, qua bochten en klimmen gaat m'n voorkeur naar die vanuit Turckheim.
Je kunt 'm helemaal richting Collet du Linge doortrekken, dan heb je een lange beklimming die nergens echt te steil is.
The nicest way to climb Trois Epis if you ask me. From Turckheim, you first get a nice little climb of 1.2km to 7％ between the vineyards. After a short descent, you pass through the typical Alsatian village of Niedermorschwihr where you turn off at a junction to start the climb to Trois Epis. The beginning is a bit steeper (8％) but after that, it stays fairly constant 6％ - 7％ and that is easy to do. You can look away from you nicely. A nice climb for the beginning of your tour or if climbing is not your specialty.
De leukste manier om Trois Epis te beklimmen als je het mij vraagt. Vanuit Turckheim krijg je eerst een schitterend klein klimmetje van 1,2km aan 7％ tussen de wijngaarden. Na een korte afdaling rijd je door het typische Elzas dorpje Niedermorschwihr waar je op een onoverzichtelijke kruising afslaat om aan de klim naar Trois Epis te beginnen. Het begin is even iets steiler (8％) maar daarna blijft het vrij constant 6％ - 7％ en dat is goed te doen. Je kunt mooi van je af kijken. Een fijne klim in het begin van je rondje of als klimmen niet je specialiteit is.
Ideal for those who don't want to go too crazy, for those who are not used to much or for those who want to start quietly just climbing. A nice runner, fair length and ditto percentages.
Ideaal voor wie niet te gek wil doen, wie weinig gewend is of wie rustig wil starten net klimmen. Een lekkere loper, billijke lengte en dito percentages.
