I climbed Trois Epis from this side after the descent from Labaroche. Then you start from the golf course. It is then still about 5 km climb. When I rode it, there was no new asphalt laid, which means mainly, a big mess of pebbles and some nice smooth corners. That should have been driven in by now so I expect it to be better. I found the climb, despite the terrible gravel, not very hard. There was little traffic and you ride quietly through the forest.
