A beautiful and varied climb over mostly narrow asphalt roads and paths. In the first part you can pull on it for a while. At the church sharply to the right (quite steep) and then up along the cemetery. You see this path rising nicely in front of you. It is very narrow and because of the tennis club you may encounter a car here from time to time. Further on the path becomes steeper. Where it drops sharply to the left (a kind of hairpin bend) you enter a steep and somewhat hidden path. Here you have to push a bit more and then you're at the top. Here and there beautiful views downwards.
Een mooie en gevarieerde klim over veelal smalle asfaltweggetjes en -paden. In het eerste deel mag je er meteen even aan trekken. Bij de kerk scherp rechtsaf (even flink steil) en daarna langs de begraafplaats omhoog. Dit pad zie je mooi voor je omhoog stijgen. Erg smal en vanwege de tennisclub kan je hier sporadisch een auto tegenkomen. Het pad wordt verderop steeds steiler. Waar het weer gaat zakken scherp naar links (een soort haarspeldbocht) een steil en wat verborgen pad in. Hier nog even aanzetten en dan ben je boven. Her en der fraaie uitzichten naar beneden.

At Huis De Torentjes (waving to Andre Rieu) turn right and climb along the Schutterijweg steeper and steeper.
Do not forget to keep left at the end of the climb and then climb all the way up. Once at the top, make sure you turn left to continue cycling to the magnificent viewpoint over the Enci quarry.
Een alternatief voor de zonneberg, maar wel net even wat makkelijker/minder steil.
Bij Huis De Torentjes (even zwaaien naar Andre Rieu) sla je rechtsaf en klim je via de schutterijweg steeds steiler omhoog.
Vergeet niet aan het einde van de klim links aan te houden en dan helemaal naar boven te klimmen. Eenmaal boven zeker even links afslaan om door te fietsen naar het schitterende uitzichtpunt over de Enci-groeve.
