There are two ways of looking at this climb: either easy if you take the gullies and smoother tarmac sections, or hard on very bad cobbles. Personally, I chose the second option :-)
Listed as a cotacol (which ends when you leave the woods)

A fine climb through woods and then fields. You start at the old abbey and then leave the village. On its own, without the cobbles (on the cycle path), the climb is easy. For a bit more fun, try the cobbles.

Fantastic climb in a surprising region. The climb starts right next to the beautiful abbey, under the railway bridge. Through the forest, the cobblestones immediately go up steeply, but there is a concrete bike path to cheat. Not a luxury because the stones are in a bad shape, and there's a lot of traffic. Once out of the forest the landscape opens up and becomes less steep.
It's a climb I like to make a detour for - definitely recommended to combine with a visit to the abbey.
