The most awkward cobbles I've ever encountered on a bike! They're big, bulging and disjointed, and you spend this already steep climb jumping up and down in the saddle.
It's not surprising that the final part of this cobbled section is part of the Namur cyclo-cross; having big tyres is a real asset here. Fortunately, the citadel site more than repays you for your efforts.
Les pavés les plus malcommodes que j’ai jamais rencontrés à vélo ! Ils sont gros, bombés et disjoints, et on passe cette montée déjà pentue à sauter sur sa selle.
Pas étonnant que la partie finale de cette section pavée fasse partie du cyclo-cross de Namur, avoir de gros pneus est vraiment un atout ici. Heureusement le site de la citadelle vous paie largement de vos efforts.
