The climb starts at the point where the La Soue stream passes under the road. The first 400 metres go up steeply. Then it flattens to false flat until the end. Road surface is not too good.

Beautiful climb in beautiful surroundings with unfortunately very poor tarmac in the second part (after having turned right at the T-junction). Fortunately that part is almost flat so in itself it doesn't bother you much.
The pleasure is in the first part: a very nice little brook valley and a nice winding road between mainly meadows to the top. Wide open views, especially to the left and to the back (towards the railway viaduct of Moresnet).
