A very nice and pleasant climb with a great surface. The gradient is not too steep, practically uniform. After leaving the forest boundary, great views of the surrounding area. The easiest uphill variant to the Karkonoska Saddle.

Nice gentle and even climb to the Polish border. The approach is long false flat over a busy road but once underway the climb winds up nicely through the forest. Just below the summit is a better opportunity to enjoy the view on a terrace than at the top.

Easy (unless there is strong north wind at the top section), pleasant and beautiful. From Vrchlabí, it is 25 km and 750 vertical meters. You can enjoy food and nice mountain views at Šindlerova Bouda at the top or ice cream/coffee back at Špindlerův Mlýn.

Really nice climb in Krkonoše, but before you start the climb you have to ride around 14km a pretty busy road with gradient 1-3%. Since you reach the end of Špindlerův Mlýn town the road quiet. The road up the hill is closed for "normal traffic" but do not expect 100% closed road. It is open for public transport (bus) + taxi. The climb goes through forrest, only last part is open to wind. The climb goes through the forrest, only last part is open to wind. There is a good tarmac on the full ascent and coffee stop is possible on the top with really nice view.
