Out-of-category climb to the beautiful terminus with radar installation. Starting in Funchal at sea level, you climb to over 1800m altitude. In the first part, you immediately have to work hard with a series of kilometres with only double percentages. These percentages fortunately drop in the final kilometres. At the top, you are rewarded with insane views.
