From the N-278 Mamelis descend and cross the Selzerbeek/Senserbach via the small bridge. After the bridge, take a short semi-paved path and at the big tree turn onto the asphalt road towards Orsbach. Up to the forest to the left of the road, the climb rises gradually without getting really tough. Along the forest, the climb flattens out. From entering Orsbach to Duserhofstrasse, the gradient rises again. During almost the entire climb certainly to the right there are nice views.
Vanaf de N-278 Mamelis afdalen en via het bruggetje de Selzerbeek/Senserbach oversteken. Na de brug een kort halfverhard pad en bij de grote boom de asfaltweg opgaan richting Orsbach. Tot aan het bos links van de weg loopt de klim geleidelijk omhoog zonder dat het echt zwaar wordt. Langs het bos vlakt de klim af. Vanaf het binnenrijden van Orsbach tot aan de Duserhofstrasse loopt het stijgingspercentage weer op. Tijdens nagenoeg de gehele klim zeker naar rechts een mooi uitzicht.
A well-running climb on a very quiet country lane with sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. The climb itself begins with moderate gradients, flattens out further in the middle and becomes most difficult when you cycle through the village until you reach the summit.
Gut laufender Anstieg auf einem sehr ruhigen Feldweg mit weitläufigen Aussichten auf das Umland. Der Anstieg selbst beginnt mit moderaten Prozenten, flacht in der Mitte weiter ab und wird, wenn man in durch den Ort fährt, am schwierigsten, bis man am Gipfel ist.
The easiest climb to Orsbach but still a nice one. At Mamelis we cross the brook and the border and then take the right road. The ascent is quite even and not too hard. Nice view into the valley. A bit flatter and as soon as you come near the houses the path starts to climb again, but then the church (and thus the end point) is already in sight.
De makkelijkste klim naar Orsbach maar nog steeds een leuke. Bij Mamelis de beek en de grens over en dan de rechter weg pakken, Stijging is behoorlijk gelijkmatig en niet te zwaar. Mooi uitzicht het dal in. Even een vlakker stukje en zodra je bij de huizen komt gaat het weer flink stijgen, maar dan is de kerk (en dus het eindpunt) al in beeld.

The climb starts at a picturesque crossing of the Selzerbach, with half-timbered houses in Mamelis, the border, and a beautiful large horse chestnut tree. Just before and after the little bridge, it is a small stretch of unpaved road. First stretch gradual with nice views over the Selzerbach valley. Between the houses it gets steeper.
De klim begint bij een pittoreske oversteek van de Selzerbach, met vakwerkhuizen in Mamelis, de grens, en een mooie grote paardenkastanje. Vlak voor en na het bruggetje is het een klein stukje onverhard. Eerste stuk geleidelijk met mooi uitzicht over het dal van de Selzerbach. Tussen de huizen wordt het steiler.
This is the mild side to get to Orsbach. At the roundabout in Mamelis you turn right down into the dead end. After 150 meters you have to get off your bike to cross a brook and the border by foot. Most of the road is false flat with occasional peaks; the serious work is just before Orsbach where you really have to work hard. Keep in mind that here, and almost all roads in this area, the road surface is bad. Advantage is that it is quiet and beautiful views of the surroundings.
Dit is de milde kant om in Orsbach te komen. Bij de rotonde in Mamelis ga je rechtsaf naar beneden de doodlopende weg in. Na 150 meter moet je even van de fiets af om een beekje en ook de grens lopend over te steken. Het grootste deel van de weg is vals plat met af en toe een piekje; het serieuze werk zit net voor Orsbach waar je echt ff moet doorbijten. Houd ook hier,en nagenoeg alle weggetjes in dit gebied,rekening met slecht wegdek. Voordeel is dat het wel rustig is en mooie uitzichten over de omgeving.
