From the N-278, descend to Mamelis and cross the Selzerbeek/Senserbach via the small bridge. After the bridge, ride via a semi-paved path to the big tree and turn left onto the tarmac road for the climb. Until the junction where you turn right into the forest, the climb varies between downhill and 8%. In the forest, the gradient then rises a good bit. Towards the built-up area of Orsbach, it then flattens out again.

A beautiful and both in terms of slope and environment a nice and very quiet alternative to the other two climbs (from the Netherlands) to Orsbach. The first part has beautiful views, then you turn left into a valley. The climb varies a lot so you can hardly get into a rhythm. As soon as you enter the forest it gets pretty tough until the sports fields, after that it's time to cycle on. For climbing the road surface is fine, when descending (which is otherwise good) watch out for gravel in the corners.
