The advantage over the 'normal' Nouveau Monde is that you have a nicer view here. The downside is that the road surface is bad in the bit downhill.

Een leuke tweetrapsraket. Je rijdt het dorpje uit, meteen even aanpoten. Het wegdek is daar nog helemaal prima. Daarna vlakt het mooi af en rijd je langs een boerderij over een mooie weg met mooi uitzicht. Hierna gaat het een stukje naar beneden, bijkomen zit er niet in want het wegdek is echt ontzettend slecht. Let dus op bij deze 'afdaling'. Tot slot komt het meest uitdagende stuk van de beklimming, maar ook mijn favoriete deel. Via de smalle weg klim je naar de top van Nouveau Monde. Bovenop wacht een heerlijk afdaling naar Pepinster op je :)

Het voordeel ten opzichte van de 'normale' Nouveau Monde is dat je hier een mooier uitzicht hebt. Het nadeel is dat het wegdek slecht is in het stukje naar beneden.

A long climb linking purely narrow agricultural roads. From Juslenville-Petite, it takes a while to find the road but once you leave the built-up area it goes up the slope in a nice swing with nice views back into the valley. Further on, it flattens out but the scenery remains pleasant. From Wislez it goes realtively flat to Rondehaie with nice views to the right along the way. Just before Rondehaie, it goes steeply up to the left and you really have to get going. Here the tarmac is bad but given the pace you won't suffer much. At the top, again beautiful views.

Een lange klim die louter smalle agrarische weggetjes aan elkaar koppelt. Vanuit Juslenville-Petite is het even zoeken naar het weggetje maar zodra je de bebouwde kom verlaat gaat het lekker slingerend tegen de helling omhoog met fraai uitzicht naar achteren het dal in. Verderop wordt het vlakker maar de omgeving blijft aangenaam. Vanuit Wislez gaat het op en neer (hier soms slecht asfalt) naar Rondehaie met onderweg mooi uitzicht over rechts. Vlak voor Rondehaie gaat het linksaf steil omhoog en moet je echt aan de bak. Hier is het asfalt wel slecht maar gezien het tempo heb je er weinig last van. Bovenaan wederom prachtig uitzicht.
