If you are looking for a longer, more challenging climb, the Nordrather Straße is the right place. In Langenberg, the climb usually ends at 240 metres. If you include the section to Ibach, you even reach 300 metres here. The gradients do not suffer from the length of the ascent, as they occur in several waves, but they come with advance notice. You are not as surprised here as along the Felderbachstraße, for example, where the waves suddenly appear behind bends and stop very briefly. The 11% section is completely in the forest on a straight, so it is very easy to see. Further waves lie on increasingly open terrain. You can catch your breath in between. The tarmac is good and traffic is very limited.
