A long climb for the region, not very steep, with a rather pleasant setting. Note that the "Brabant Arrow" cycling route follows this slope, but not to the top: at about 1700 m, it turns left into the Terlaenenstraat to go directly to the centre of Ottenburg, via a "basin": a short descent and then a short ascent.
Longue montée pour la région, peu pentue, avec un cadre assez agréable. À noter que la route cycliste « Flèche brabançonne » emprunte cette côte, mais pas jusqu'à son sommet : à environ 1700 m, elle prend à gauche la Terlaenenstraat pour aller directement au centre d'Ottenburg, via une « cuvette » : courte redescente puis courte remontée.
It is a quiet climb, which takes you away from the hustle and bustle that you find on a summer day on, for example, the Smeysberg. The climb offers nice views but the last 1 km consists of bad road surface.
Het is een rustige beklimming, die je even weg brengt van de drukte die je op een zomerse dag vindt op bijvoorbeeld de smeysberg. De beklimming biedt mooie uitzichten maar de laatste 1 km bestaat wel uit slecht wegdek.
