Of the three ascents to the summit of Monte Serra, it is the one with the most spectacular view of the valley with the Arno and Pisa. It lasts just the right amount of time, a little bit in steps, and this gives you a chance to breathe every now and then. Fun on the descent. For those who live in the area, it is a must. It is, together with the slope from Buti and the one from Compito, part of the Serra triptych, a patent I recommend everyone take.

Divertente in discesa.

Really a must. The start in Calci is very special. Old Italian town with narrow streets. Lovely views over Pisa and towards the sea. The road surface is super and the climb is good. About halfway it gets steeper but doable. Above at a restaurant just a cold cola, what more could you want. Definitely do this beautiful climb.

Zeker doen Deze mooi klim.
