Fine climb; nowhere unreasonably steep. The road surface is in reasonable condition. Wonderful views just below the summit: to the southwest, Pisa and Livorno are visible, and in good weather also the islands of Gorgona Scalo, Capraia and Corsica. Those who continue towards the RAI's transmitter masts at the summit also get a nice view towards Montecatini and Pistoia.

Fijne klim; nergens onredelijk steil.
