9 August 2024. Very tough climb. It starts immediately with gradients of 10-15%, then calms down for a moment and picks up again to a max of around 20%. Only the last two kilometres allow you to breathe. Today from 600 to 900 metres above sea level, I was the constant target of flies and horseflies, which were very annoying. On the descent, more than the potholes, I had to avoid the "cakes" of the cows. After about three kilometres there is a drinking fountain, useful for refuelling before the last six kilometres. The climb is as hard as two Viceroys or a Val Cava from Torre de Busi; it is worth it for the view, but I think I won't be thinking about it for a while.
9 agosto 2024. Salita molto dura.
One of my favourites because of the stupendous panorama from the top, I agree with the hardness of the route, which is tackled right from the first ramps, but the most challenging part comes after the red bar, which must be passed by hand, and the first bends in the forest are 22% Then, in the upper part, it becomes more pedalable, but still hard.
Tough climb, but the view from the top is worth the effort! Many sections at 15/20% , in the last 2 km you relax. Beautiful passing animals ;-) very bad descent asphalt in very bad condition, be careful
Bellissimi animali in passaggio ;-) discesa molto brutta asfalto in pessime condizioni, fare attenzione
Really tough climb, done once, I don't think I would do it again.
Personally, I don't like climbs with garage ramp-type inclines.
Not beautiful asphalt but truly postcard-perfect scenery.
Glad I did it.
Challenging climb that leaves little breathing space.
Beautiful panorama at the top
Very ruined asphalt and attention, often cows grazing.
Salita impegnativa che lascia poco respiro.
Bel panorama nella parte alta
Asfalto molto rovinato e attenzione , spesso presenti mucche al pascolo.
Not a very long climb but hard because it is not regular, with some climbs definitely not to be underestimated, beautiful views of the Brianza lakes. Recommended at least a 34/ 28.
Quite hard climb, since the start. If you are in the Lake of Como area, it is worth. It is a blind road with quite ruined asphalt. Beware of the vans carrying paragliders to the top: they are the only motorised vehicles (and always in a hurry on a very narrow road!) allowed to the otherwise closed-to-cars-road, after the barrell. Nice view at the top
Cheers
