Départ vélo vers 9h30 par la magnifique voie verte qui longe le lac ( on se sent vraiment en sécurité ) et ça permet un minimum d'échauffement avant d'arriver au pied du Mont-du Chat : .
Les 3 premiers kilomètres d'ascension jusqu'au Petit-Caton se passent sans encombre, une épingle à gauche annonce l'amorce des forts pourcentages qui vont durer jusqu'au sommet dans une régularité surprenante.
Il vous faut trouver le bon tempo dés le début et le garder pendant 12kms, c'est du costaud mais pas aussi dur que la vue du profil le laisse penser ( on trouve des cols plus usants avec des profils moins agressifs ), j'ai juste trouvé moralement difficile la longue ligne droite de presque 3kms avant le dernier lacet, il faut dire que c'est assez monotone.
