This version or version 2 of le col de le collet is the least demanding. Well actually wrong way of putting it because this is also a real wall. The first km is tough but alternating steep and less steep. The big difference with the other starting point is that here you don't have 20 % lanes and an excellent tarmac layer and you ride here in the green and with shade. The first km is tough but alternating steep and less steep. The big difference with the other starting point is that here you don't have 20 % lanes and an excellent tarmac layer and you ride here in the green and with shade. After a good kilometre the two streets come together and it is much harder with strips of over 15 % but doable. The road surface becomes less good with a lot of loose gravel. There is also a short descent to the end. The top gives a beautiful view and a plate with the most famous climbs in the area. For the sake of clarity, I added a picture of the starting point because the base of the 2 versions is barely 100 m from each other.
