What a blast. Barely 2.5 km long with a descent after 300 and an average of almost 10%.
In the beginning not too hard, but after 600, a very hard part.
At least 70 m above 20%.
I was riding my mountain bike at 3 km per hour. Getting off the bike was not an option because you can't go off on your own anymore. When I wanted to get up, my front wheel came up and I almost fell backwards.
The second part went a bit easier but constantly above 10km and also here a steeper part downhill and then you think you're there but no way, the misery continues. But at the top I was rewarded with a beautiful view and a map of the famous mountains in the area. I added a photo of the start because you can start this wall from 2 streets that are barely 100m apart. The start is at 40m from the Eyroles section on the D186.
This start is by far the toughest and most difficult. but my tripple was still too big actually.
If I had known this beforehand...but glad that I made it to the top at an average of 6.9 km per hour 😀. The road is bad but doable with a road bike, just a lot of loose rocks and gravel in the middle part. If you like this kind of climb you will find the max here.
