A small, friendly pass in the middle of a deciduous forest. Well shaded in the morning. Very quiet. It is possible to avoid passing any cars.
It is the little brother of the Azet pass, and like it, it allows you to join the Aure valley to the Louron valley but further downstream.
Note that in the summer of 2022, the Gouaux - Lançon section is covered in gravel. It is therefore better to go up this side and prefer to go down the Bordère-Louron or Arreau side.
