Nice climb in the forest. The condition of the road is not top, but ok. You come off the main road , then it is immediately a short descent and then you are launched on the climb. When you get to the lake, it's actually not done climbing yet. You can turn left to then climb towards the top of col de Virege.
Mooie beklimming in het bos. De staat van de weg is niet top, maar ok. Je komt van de grote baan af , dan is het direct een klein stukje dalen en dan kom je gelanceerd op de beklimming uit. Als je bij het meer ben, is het eigenlijk nog niet gedaan met klimmen. Je kan naar links gaan om dan te klimmen richting de top van col de Virege.
I suffered a lot on this climb. It is actually continuously steep, making it difficult to get into a good rhythm. The road winds beautifully through a forest to the lake and is definitely worth the effort, but don't underestimate it....
When you arrive at the lake, keep left to continue the climb to the Col de la Vierge.
Flink afgezien op deze klim. Het is eigenlijk continu steil, waardoor het lastig is om in een goed ritme te komen. De weg kronkelt prachtig door een bos naar het meer en is zeker de moeite waard, maar onderschat het niet....
Bij het meer aangekomen houd je links aan om door te klimmen naar de Col de la Vierge.
Nice climb, very quiet between the trees. I think it is one-way, so you only get cars from behind. Between the trees you can see through, at the top you choose whether you want to put your legs in the lakes of Corbeaux or continue to climb to the Col de la Vierge. Of course, you do the latter as a cyclist.
Mooie klim, heel rustig tussen de bomen. Volgens mij is het eenrichtingsverkeer, dus je krijgt alleen maar auto's van achteren. Tussen de bomen kun je goed door kijken, bovenaan kies je of je je beentjes in de meren van Corbeaux wilt steken of door wilt klimmen naar de Col de la Vierge. Je doet natuurlijk dat laatste als wielrenner.

I rode it with the Trek Boys as a climbing TT. I was inferior to my young nephews but it was still a nice experience. Almost constantly +9％, without resting. At the top, enjoy the Lac des Corbeaux.
Heb ik opgereden met de Trek Boys als klim TT, Heb moeten onderdoen voor mijn jonge neefjes maar was toch leuke ervaring. Bijna constant +9％, zonder rustpunt. Boven genieten aan het Lac des Corbeaux.
