Een gelijkmatige klim door het bos. Na een korte afdaling na de doorgaande weg begint de klim. Op een zonnige en watme dag is het heerlijk koel tussen de bomen. Er is wel wat autoverkeer naar en van het meer.

Flink afgezien op deze klim. Het is eigenlijk continu steil, waardoor het lastig is om in een goed ritme te komen. De weg kronkelt prachtig door een bos naar het meer en is zeker de moeite waard, maar onderschat het niet....
Bij het meer aangekomen houd je links aan om door te klimmen naar de Col de la Vierge.

Mooie klim, heel rustig tussen de bomen. Volgens mij is het eenrichtingsverkeer, dus je krijgt alleen maar auto's van achteren. Tussen de bomen kun je goed door kijken, bovenaan kies je of je je beentjes in de meren van Corbeaux wilt steken of door wilt klimmen naar de Col de la Vierge. Je doet natuurlijk dat laatste als wielrenner.

Heb ik opgereden met de Trek Boys als klim TT, Heb moeten onderdoen voor mijn jonge neefjes maar was toch leuke ervaring. Bijna constant +9％, zonder rustpunt. Boven genieten aan het Lac des Corbeaux.
