Pretty easy climb, on a fairly busy course. Personally, though, I always find it a fun climb to pop up once.
Best gemakkelijke beklimming, op een vrij drukke baan. Persoonlijk vind ik het wel altijd een leuke beklimming om eens op te knallen.

Done once because I was there but I wouldn't do this. Climb doesn't really lead anywhere and besides, it's a very busy road. Not very difficult but those cars just make it too busy.
Een keer gedaan, omdat ik er was maar ik zou dit niet doen. Klim leidt eigenlijk nergens toe en bovendien is het een zeer drukke weg. Niet heel moeilijk maar die auto’s maken het gewoon te druk.
The Keizerberg in itself is not much but the spur can be quite annoying. The heavy traffic is also a serious challenge.
De Keizerberg stelt op zichzelf weinig voor maar de uitloper kan best vervelend zijn. Ook vormt het vele verkeer een serieuze uitdaging.
Steep strip with a nasty spur. The cars whiz past you uphill, the noise is sometimes unbearable (reflection of the facades and walls).
As far as I am concerned, it is the least difficult slope of the WK-loop in Leuven. I would rather avoid the area.

This one is known from the GP of Poeske Scherens and the World Championship of 2021. But it is easy to do on the big plateau. Yet I advise you not to plan this slope. It is quite busy here, and the traffic in between can be impatient.
Deze is gekend uit de GP van Poeske Scherens en het WK van 2021. Maar hij is goed te doen op de grote plateau. Toch raad ik u af om deze helling in te plannen. Het is hier vrij druk, en het verkeer waar je tussen zit durft al eens ongeduldig te zijn.
The road to the climb from the Leuven canal is not that interesting, because of the traffic in the Vaartkom. The slope itself is worthwhile in the first 200m next to the abbey, after that the climb becomes less beautiful. You can make the difference in the first meters on the big plateau and if you are in good shape you can continue on the spur.
De weg naar de klim vanaf de Leuvense vaart is niet zo interessant, wegens de drukte in de Vaartkom. De helling zelf daarentegen is zeker de moeite in de eerste steilere 200m naast de abdij, daarna wordt de klim minder mooi. Je kan hier in de eerste meters het verschil maken op de grote plateau en bij goede conditie dan ook doortrekken op de uitloper.
It remains impressive to cycle up along the stone walls of the abbey. The road surface has recently been renewed but otherwise the traffic is indeed dramatic.
het blijft indrukwekkend om langs de stenen muren van de abdij naar boven te fietsen. Het wegdek is laatst vernieuwd maar verder is de verkeersdrukte inderdaad dramatisch.
Very busy road without a bicycle path and therefore dangerous. You can go up here with the big plateau but it's in the center of Leuven. I use it sometimes when I have to be in the neighbourhood because you can go right under the tunnel where it is more quiet and the road goes up and down.
Zeer drukke baan zonder fietspad en dus gevaarlijk . Je kan hier met de grote plateau naar boven maar ligt in het centrum van Leuven . Ik rij er soms eens op als ik in de buurt moet zijn omdat je juist onder de tunnel naar rechts kan waar het rustiger is en de weg ook op en af gaat.
