When you turn off, you immediately realise that you have chosen too high a gear, as the climb begins with the steepest part and flattens out at the top. First through a residential area, later through forest with a beautiful view at the summit.
Beim Abbiegen merkt man direkt, dass man einen zu hohen Gang gewählt hat, denn der Anstieg beginnt mit der steilsten Stelle und wird oben flacher. Zunächst durch ein Wohngebiet, später durch Wald mit einer schönen Aussicht am Gipfel.
A climb with a bit of everything. A nice, really steep start, after which it goes on for a while. You drive through a kind of residential area so that is not a punishment either. A little further on, the road flattens out and you enter the green with sometimes nice views to the left. Just before the highest point (this is just after the bend) you come to a war memorial with a beautiful view over Zweifall which gives extra cachet to the climb.
Een klim met van alles wat. Een lekker echt steil begin waarna het nog even best stevig doorloopt. Je rijdt hier door een soort villawijk dus dat is ook geen straf. Iets verderop wordt de weg vlakker en ga je het groen in met soms aardig uitzicht naar links. Vlak voor het hoogste punt (dit ligt net na de bocht) kom je bij een oorlogsmonument met fraai uitzicht over Zweifall wat extra cachet aan de klim geeft.
