Climb from the centre of Saarburg that starts out briskly right away and stays that way between houses for a long time. Eventually it flattens out and further on you enter the forest where the road turns into a fine gravel road, which further on descends for a while itself. Where the gravel changes into - quite reasonable - asphalt again, it goes up hard - very hard - again. Here it is really hard work until just before you reach a main road again. Unfortunately not much of a view but certainly a challenging climb that runs through beautiful nature in the second half.
