Vanaf de beek gaat het via twee haarspeldbochten meteen behoorlijk pittig omhoog. Daarna wordt de weg wegrechter en iets vlakker. Vlak voor de top ga je rechtsaf en daarna links door het bos verder omhoog. Bovenaan vlakt de weg behoorlijk af. Grotendeels prima asfalt. Het laatste stukje linksaf naar de huizen bij de Hosteberg loopt dood en biedt weinig extra (ook wordt het asfalt op het eind slecht). Hier zou je het kleine weggetje rechtdoor kunnen pakken waarna een fraaie afdaling naar Körrig volgt.
